Empire Magazine has reserved the covers of its latest issue for: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Powerfeaturing four covers of the Prime Video TV series to be released on the streaming platform on September 2.

The images show Prince Durin IV played by Owain Arthur, Sophia Nomvete’s princess Disa, Morfydd Clark as the elf Galdriel, and then there are the forerunners of the Hobbits, namely the Pelopiedi, played by Megan Richard, Markella Kavenagh and Lenny Henry, who will in turn play the characters of Poppy Proudfellow, Elanor ‘Nori’ Brandyfoot and Sadoc Burrows. The last photo is exclusively designed by Jon Howe.

Beginning with a period of relative calm, the series follows a cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they face the dreaded resurgence of evil in Middle-earth.
