In the third chapter Obi-Wan Kenobi It’s clear to Disney+ that the Grand Inquisitor is dead. And that his death is already a fact, assumed by both the second brother and the third, Reva. In fact, there is an obvious confrontation between the two over the possibility of one of them taking on the mantle of the Order’s chief. In addition, even Darth Vader himself makes it clear that Reva may lead the order to capture Kenobi. A turning point both for Riva – and her destructive quest for power – and for the Second Brother, who will come face to face with his ambitions.

But while the plot is interesting enough to sustain a complex conflict, it raises a real and rather complex issue. The Grand Inquisitor was the villain of the series’ first season. Star Wars Rebels, temporarily located five years after Obi-Wan Kenobi. If he really died, the whole plot would be changed, or at least completely reversed at significant points. So this other being is responsible for hunting down the Jedi? The one that appears in Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Disney+ its predecessor?

If so, do they belong to the same race and the same planet? And assuming he survived Riva’s attack, why doesn’t Darth Vader know? How is it that you allowed Reva to commit such an act of defiance? Not only that: he also supports him by offering him a position directly. What should we expect from the next chapters in the series?

Under the rule of the Empire, Obi-Wan Kenobi is on an important mission.

Obvious memory error in Obi-Wan Kenobi

The Grand Inquisitor died and I am looking for a replacement, Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ raises the issue of future exposure to the linear argument. Or find a creative way to solve a dilemma. It is obvious that in Star Wars no one dies (not completely) and that there is always the possibility of their return. But the Star Wars Rebels character isn’t a Force ghost. Not a cybernetic being, not mechanical parts. Or at least not visible.

Much more curious is the fact that the series details the death of the Grand Inquisitor. In other words, the sequence focuses on the character’s face with open eyes and no signs of breathing. So his future seems to be unknown. Will it happen the same way as with Fennec Shand, who was saved from death by Boba Fett and given mechanical parts?

Interestingly, both characters receive injuries in the same places on the body (around the torso) and which can be hidden under clothing. So that explains why the character has no visible marks in his animated version. However when was something like this? If the Inquisitor was killed and the Order already knew about it, who helped him?

Scenario Obi-Wan Kenobi has serious problems with the deepening and analysis of the theme of the Grand Inquisitor. So far, he’s kind of made it clear that this is an accusation, which is why the character doesn’t have a name. This means that anyone can hold a hierarchy. I mean, does she use the old Sith formula that a master is destined to die at the hands of his apprentice? This would cause more problems with G canon and especially with how power is analyzed within a rigid hierarchical organization. Or at least as part of an elite squad such as the Inquisitors.

More problems ahead

Of course the problem Obi-Wan Kenobi It’s not so much how the Inquisitor could survive, but how the show could capture his return. In his third chapter, he stated three specific things. First, his death was already accepted as a fact, even by Vader. On the other hand, Reva may not have to answer for what happened.. And thirdly, the role of the Inquisitor is of great strategic importance.

This leads to other complex spaces. in anime Star Wars Rebels, The Grand Inquisitor is a prominent and powerful figure with absolute power. Could the Grand Inquisitor become famous after being “killed” by a subordinate? In the first season of Star Wars Rebels, the villain is a powerful figure. Could it be after something like this?
