The irreverent and bizarre animation show The Cuphead Series! will return with a second season: Netflix has officially confirmed it with a rich teaser trailer, without revealing a specific release date, however. So get ready for the latest adventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious brother Mugman, in these new episodes inspired by the famous video game.

Here’s the official recap of the first season, available now on Netflix:
Based on the award-winning video game that stunned audiences with its irresistible retro animation style, The Cuphead Series! follows the comic misadventures of impulsive troublemaker Cuphead and his more cautious but easily influenced brother Mugman. In search of adventure and fun, the two inhabitants of the surreal Inkwell Island are always in trouble, but they are ready to help each other in any situation… except when the last remaining cookie is on the line! THE CUPHEAD SERIES! brings vintage references, hilarious jokes and a pinch of suspense to the stage in the form of the absurd villain Satanasso, determined to thwart the plans of our heroes. Produced by Netflix Animation, the series executive produces CJ Kettler for King Features, Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer for Studio MDHR, and Emmy and Annie Award winner Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts). Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Attraction) is co-executive producer.
