The worst-rated Marvel movie by fans and critics, Eternals (rating 6.3 on IMDb) may continue, according to the latest information coming to light these days.
This alleged Eternal 2 is “in progress” at Marvel Studios, although there is no indication of how far the production line may be. So we just don’t know if the script has been approved or if they’re already shooting part of the movie.
The leak also revealed that Chloé Zhao, who directed the first Eternals movie, He may not return for the sequel. But if Zhao joins Eternals 2, he could be “heavily restrained” by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and co-president Louis D’Esposito.
Meanwhile, the original post contains the following information: production issues hindered the development of the first film in the saga. For this reason, Marvel employees are concerned about the possibility of a similar situation repeating if Eternals 2 is approved.
Eternals was released in theaters in November 2021, but remains the lowest rated MCU movie ever. Currently, Marvel’s Phase 4 project has a 47% “rotten” rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes.
Meanwhile, Eternals has a 6.3 out of 10 rating on IMDb –only Ms Marvel, the latest Marvel Disney Plus series, has a lower IMDB rating of 6.2-. And that’s not counting Sony’s Marvel titles like Morbius and Venom.
With all that said, it’s normal to have doubts as to whether a franchise that didn’t quite convince with Marvel’s premiere in 2021 wants to continue with the Eternals universe, which puts its future in jeopardy. on Disney+ in fantastic 4K IMAX Enhanced.
