Paramount Pictures movie release date changed ifwho will see involved John Krasinskic as director e Ryan Reynolds as an interpreter. As announced, the feature film will not hit theaters on November 17, 2023, but May 24, 2024.

The film If has been described as a fantasy comedy. According to reports, If tells the story of a child trying to rediscover his imagination. The previous title of the project was Imaginary Friends, while the current one uses only the initials. Krasinski will also be involved with If as a writer and producer. The film is being produced by Sunday Night, starring Allyson Seeger and Andrew Form along with Ryan Reynolds and his production company Maximum Effort. George Dewey will serve as executive producer.

The cast will also include Steve Carell, who will be joined by Alan Kim (Minari), Cailey Fleming (Star Wars, The Walking Dead) and Louis Gossett Jr. (Watchmen), who will join previously announced lead actors Ryan Reynolds (Free Guy, Deadpool), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) and Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve).
