Fans of Japanese horror mangas can’t wait for it to come out Netflix the animated series Junji Ito’s Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabretaken from the works of Junji Ito. The streaming platform has released images of the project that will appear on Netflix in 2023.

According to new information that has been revealed, Junji Ito’s Maniac will adapt some of the main stories of the manga artist: we’re talking about Tomie, Souichi, The Hanging Balloons, but also Where The Sandman Lives, Bulllied, The Long Hair In The Attic, Undendurable Maze and The Bizarre Hikizuri Siblings: The Seance. In total, the adapted stories should be twenty.

Among the original voices that will be part of the dubbing, we can mention Kazuya Hikizuri, Romi Park, Yoko Hikasa, Hisako Kanemoto and Natsumi Takamori.

Meanwhile, on July 26, the new collection of manga horror stories by popular Japanese author Junji Ito will be released in the United States, soon to be published Liminal Zone. A few weeks ago, the trailer for the short story collection appeared online.
