The choice of Neve Campbell leave the Scream franchise, do not join shout 6, surprised all fans. Melissa Barrerawho played the role of Samantha Carpenter in the fifth feature of the saga, has decided to give her say and approve the choice of Neve Campbell.

Neve’s choice was shocking, but as a woman, I understand. Especially as a black woman I find myself dealing with this thing all the time which is why I am not getting paid for what I earn. It happens to me because I’m Latin, and they don’t consider me a white woman. But if Neve da donna bianca is underestimated, it shows how many problems there are within this industry. So I applaud his choice to do something he believes in.
Neve Campbell said of her non-participation in Scream 6:
As a woman, I’ve worked hard my entire career to prove my worth, especially with Scream. I believe that the offer made to me is not equal to the value I have shown for the saga. For me, leaving the franchise is a very difficult choice. To all my fans I say I love them, you have always supported me. I will always be grateful to you for this franchise and what it has given me over the past 25 years.
