The first comments on the The Lord of the Rings – The Rings of Powerthe TV series making its debut on Prime Video on Sept. According to the opening words of those who got to see the show’s first two episodes, a “breathtaking” show is expected.
Steven Weintraub of Collider spoke of “a show that feels like an even higher Lord of the Rings”. While Perri Nemiroff described the production as “remarkable, with breathtaking visual effects. The level of detail of the costumes and production design is also something on another level. And the same can be said for the characters and the story.”
Brandon Katz of TheWrap described The Rings of Power as “a show and something that elevates ambitions and makes this TV show unattainable.” Screenrant’s Rob Keyes also spoke of a show “better than the marketing material shown” […] the dwarves of Middle-earth are even better than The Hobbit.”
Finally, we quote Lyra Hale’s opinion, also positive, who underlined “the power of the series’ stories.” I love the world that was built and the power it inspires. And then there are some very tough women.”
