Despite the serious physical problems that have plagued him for years, the actor Val Kilmer managed to appear in Top Gun: Maverick, and it looks like he plans to submit his candidacy to return Batmaneven in a cameo.
Interviewer Jim Vejvoda asked him:
Now in superhero movies, the possibilities of the multiverse have opened up, with actors who have played Batman or Spider-Man in the past, returning to take on the roles of these characters. Would you be interested in playing Batman/Bruce Wayne again, even in a cameo?
And Val Kilmer’s answer was:
Absolutely, please.
Remember, we’ll see Michael Keaton return to play Batman in the upcoming DC movie about The Flash, having created the character in Tim Burton’s feature films. And on the Marvel front, in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we’ve seen both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles as web weavers.
Val Kilmer played Batman in Joel Schmacher’s feature film Batman Forever, which hit theaters in 1995.
