Despite all the programming changes Warner Brittle. Discovery has done with regard to the branded productions DC movies there are several projects that will continue their path, and among these seems to be the TV series Arkham Asylum.
This is corroborated by a report from Variety, which has revealed both the spin-off TV series of the batter, or the ones on the Penguin and the ones on Arkham Asylum are still in the pipeline led by Matt Reeves. The director has signed an agreement with Warnr Bros., through which he will also make The Batman 2.
Speaking to The Cyber Nerds, Matt Reeves said about the TV series some time ago:
Gotham City’s police project evolves. We’re trying to focus on what’s going on in the world of Arkham and some of his characters. It would be kind of a horror if the haunted house is represented by Arkham. Just like Gotham is kind of a character in the movie, I wish the same would happen to Arkham. I want to work on certain characters in a new way. And as we were writing the story, we realized we needed to focus on this.
