Nicolas Cage is ready to participate in the production of a new comedy titled Dream scenario. The A24 will take care of the project and director Ari Aster, who has already worked on Hereditary and Midsommar, will also be involved in the feature. Aster becomes the producer.
Dream Scenario is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the project’s other producers are Lars Knudsen of Square Peg, Jacob Jaffke and Tyler Campellone.
Nicolas Cage thus returns to work on a comedy, after making The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, in which Cage took the part of himself, for what was a meta-cinematic narrative.
Nicolas Cage recently worked on the production of Renfield, a film that reworks Dracula’s story into a comedic key, from the perspective of the character employed by the Prince of Darkness. In the role of the protagonist will be Nicolas Hoult.
While among the future projects that Nicolas Cage could be involved in are National Treasure 3 and also a new Face/Off movie, a cult movie in which John Travolta was the other lead.
