In front of Beverly Hills Cop 4 Eddie Murphy will be joined by several members of the saga’s original cast: Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser And Bronson Pinchot they will join the project and return to perform alongside the popular actor.
Reinhold appeared in the original film and in the two sequels to the saga, while Ashton appeared in the first feature film and in Beverly Hills Cop II, which also starred Brigitte Nielsen. Pinchot appeared in the saga as Serge, while Reiser was Axel Foley’s companion in the Detroit Police Department.
The film will be made for Netflix and written by Will Beall and directed by Mark Molloy, while producers Eddie Murphy, Jerry Bruckheimer and Jerry Bruckheimer will star in the films Chad Oman.
Mark Molloy replaces Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who previously worked on the buddy film Bad Boys for Life and the development of the recently canceled Batgirl film. Recall that Beverly Hills Cop was the movie that brought Eddie Murphy to success, who recounted that experience like this:
