Two new promo clips in English lead us to the discovery of Black Adam (presented as “an imperfect hero”) and the Justice Society of America (Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone).
The film, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise“), featuring Dwayne Johnson as the title’s antihero, as well as Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Mo Amer, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan in the guise of Dr. . Fate.
In ancient Kahndaq, Teth-Adam was given the incredible powers of the gods. Once used for revenge, he was imprisoned and became Black Adam. About five thousand years have passed since then and Black Adam has gone from man to myth and has become a legend. Free today, he discovers that his personal sense of justice, born of anger, is being jeopardized by the heroes of our time, most notably the Justice Society consisting of Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone. It is the beginning of an ideological struggle, as well as a physical one, that could change the fate of the entire world.
