the distribution of Babylon has undergone changes: initially the film of Damien Chazelle it would have an initial release window in theaters in early December, then finally hit the big screen on January 6, and be available December 23 instead.

The release of Babylon in late December puts the film in direct competition with Avatar 2, which hits theaters on December 14. Damien Chazelle’s new feature will feature an exceptional cast that includes Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Tobey Maguire.

The rest of the cast includes Max Minghella, Flea, Samara Weaving, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, PJ Byrne, Damon Gupton, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Katherine Waterston. No details have yet been revealed about the plot of the story that Damien Chazelle will tell, although it is known that it will be a period drama set in the 1920s. It looks like the feature will have R-Rated, therefore banned for minors.

Chazelle also wrote the script. The concept of the story seems to have kept the filmmaker busy for 15 years. Executive producers on the project are Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, Marc Platt, Tobey Maguire, Helen Estabrook and Adam Siegel.
