After three seasons, a change of protagonist and several disputes, the CW has decided to cancel batwomanone of the series DC Comics of the television network. The showrunner announced the news Caroline Dries

On Twitter, the Batwoman showrunner said:

I have to bring the sad news that Batwoman is not getting a fourth season. I am a little sad, but full of gratitude. I can say it was an honor to make 51 episodes. This series has seen contributions from many brilliant and inspiring people. Thanks to the producers, the entire cast and the team. And thanks to the fans! We love you.

Recall that in the first season, the protagonist of Batwoman was Kate Kane, played by Ruby Rose. And after the actress left the show after just one season in 2020, her place was taken by Ryan Wilder’s character, played by Javicia Leslie.

Other Batwoman protagonists include Rachel Skarsten as Elizabeth Kane/Alice, Megan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox/Batwing, Robin Givens as Jada Jet and Nick Creegan who played Marquis Jet/Joker.
