Sony Pictures has found the person to direct gif 3and we are talking about Kelly Marcelwho, having written and produced the first two chapters of the spiderverse saga, will compete right behind the camera.
Kelly Marcel also wrote the screenplay for Venom 3 with Tom Hardy and will be responsible for the production of the film along with the lead actor. The subject is also edited by Marcel and Hardy. Among the other producers we can mention Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.
No details have been released on the story of this third installment, but Andy Serkis, who directed the second film, said some time ago about the new feature:
There is a lot of potential in the Venomverse, to have many adventures before the inevitable happens. I think Tom and Kelly are thinking about the next step on the journey because we already had plans for what might happen. In these cases, you work for narrative arcs, you don’t do it for a single movie.
