Disney kicked off its 100th anniversary with the announcement of a series of exclusive experiences, exhibitions, concerts and a series of special new products arriving in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) next year.
At the EMEA level, the announcement of activities for Disney100 took place in London during the event Disney100 Debut that was attended by several international guests such as Emma Willis, Jess Wright and singer Rachel Stevens who, in addition to the various performances, were also able to attend live performances from Disneyland Paris and the cast of The Lion King.
On October 16, 2023, it will be 100 years since Walt and his brother Roy first introduced the world to Disney magic, astounding millions of people.
Disney will be celebrating the stories and characters of its first 100 years in 2023.

Disney100: The Concert
Disney is touring Europe with the Hollywood Sound Orchestra to bring Disney100 to life with a series of concerts recreating some of the most iconic music in Disney history. The tour will feature songs from films such as Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins and Encanto, as well as songs from the worlds of Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.
The live multimedia experience includes the screening of some legendary scenes from the films, accompanied by live performances by solo artists and the orchestra.
The European tour kicks off on April 13 in Kiel (Germany), continues with 16 other dates in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and also stops on November 11 and 12 at La Defense Arena in Paris. More dates to be announced soon!
Disney100: the exhibition
Disney100: The Exhibition aims to take guests on a timeless journey, through the most beloved stories, that can enchant the world from 1923 to today. Disney will open the treasury to display hundreds of extraordinary pieces of history, including over 250 original drawings rarely exhibited on other occasions, artifacts, costumes, props, and other memorabilia.
Disney100: The Exhibition will debut in the United States in February 2023, in Philadelphia, then stop in Chicago, Illinois, and Kansas City, along with several soon-to-be-announced cities. The first European stop will be in Munich on April 18 (tickets will go on sale soon) and will then continue across Europe. In London, Disney100: The Exhibition will take place at ExCeL in the fall of 2023.
Disney100 – Friends Forever
Celebrating 100 years of beautiful duets, courageous friendships and inseparable companions, Disney is opening the doors to an immersive multisensory experience designed for Generation Z children and young adults who want to celebrate the Disney100 – Friends forever campaign (https://www. disney.co.uk/disney-wonder-of-friendship). Launching from London, the event will allow groups of friends to venture into over 1000 square feet of experiences and installations across 4 rooms: Alice in Wonderland, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King and Mickey and Friends. Immersed in the worlds of their most beloved characters, visitors can celebrate their friendships and build new, great memories.
Disney100 – Let’s Play!
The Disney campaign Disney100 Let’s Play! celebrates 100 years of characters, stories and products that highlight the unique ability of the Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic universes to help parents create shared experiences with their children.
The global campaign aims to encourage families to spend more time together and help parents and educators integrate play into everyday moments. The campaign also supports Disney’s community commitment to create Moments that Matter, bringing Disney100 Let’s Play! to families around the world.

The Disney100 Platinum Collection line will be available soon on shopDisney.it, including a special hat and headband featuring the iconic Disney100 ears. More details about this collection will be revealed in the coming months.
The Disney 100 Decades collection will feature many products inspired by classic stories and different eras of Disney history. Starting with the line dedicated to the Steambot classic Willie from the 1920s, available on shopDisney.it from early 2023, the Disney 100 Decades Collection will celebrate the different decades of Disney and their most beloved stories, from Snow White in the 1930s to Pinocchio in the 1940s and beyond.

Disneyland Paris
Following the celebration of Disneyland Paris’ 30th anniversary, Disney100 will also occupy the iconic resort. Here the celebrations begin with an exclusive moment during the New Year celebrations and continue with a year full of surprises. On October 16, 2023, the exact date of the centenary, guests can take part in a unique entertainment program: live performances by the various Disney Characters and exclusive activities throughout the day. After October 16, there are plenty of other new activities planned at Disneyland Paris for the Disney100 celebrations. To celebrate Disney100, in 2023 Disney will encourage fans to share their favorite Disney moments on social media using #ShareTheWonder and #Disney100. For the first 100 years of history, Disney has brought magic everywhere. Starting with the rich cultural heritage of storytelling, including the creation of the first animated short with synchronized audio in 1928, Steamboat Willie, and the first animated film, with the debut of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in 1939, to the opening of Disneyland allowing fans around the world to immerse themselves in Magic.
