Then James Gunn and Peter Safran have been named CEOs of the DC studios the rumors and statements surrounding the DC Comics universe continue to feed, and the latest involves two projects and a great director: Lobe, Constantine 2 And Zak Snyder. And if Constantine 2 is a movie that’s officially in development, rumors of Lobo continue to feed, as do those of Zack Snyder returning to DC.

As revealed by Zack Snyder himself, the filmmaker has not been contacted to date. Here’s what he said on The Preston & Steve Show:

Right now I’m doing my thing, and I still haven’t received a call.

After Henry Cavill’s return as Superman was revealed, many fans also requested the new signing of Zack Snyder, to continue building his universe and continue the Justice League trilogy.

But rumors were also sparked about Lobo, a character considered DC’s Deadpool, who Stan Lee himself envied in the roster of Superman and Batman. James Gunn used it as an image in his post about Mastodon, drawing fans’ attention. And regarding a potential special feature, Jason Momoa, former Aquaman interpreter, spoke out, saying nothing concrete but underlining his passion for the character.

Everyone knows I’m a fan of comics, he said, and Lobo is the one I’ve collected the most and have the most books from.

Who knows if Momoa will be the future Lobo at this point. Finally, regarding Constantine 2, director Francis Lawrence spoke about the state of production. These are his words:

We don’t have a script yet, but me, Keanu Reeves and Akiva Goldsman have already worked on the first film together and we’ve been trying to make the second for a long time. The situation is peculiar because at DC/Vertigo everyone has control over their characters, so they worked to get these rights. And now that we have them, we’re working on a story and we’ll put all our passion into it.
