Apple today unveiled the trailer for the second season of the anthology series Little America, nominated for a BAFTA, Independent Spirit, NAACP Image and GLAAD Media Award. Created by Emmy nominee Lee Eisenberg and Academy Award winner Siân Heder, the series—whose critically and commercially acclaimed first season received a 95 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes—returns on December 9 with eight new episodes on Apple TV+.

“Little America” ​​is inspired by true stories published in Vox Media’s Epic Magazine with the intention of sharing and telling the funniest, most romantic, passionate, inspiring, surprising and more meaningful immigrants in America than ever. The second season of “Little America” ​​celebrates stories inspired by the lives of real people from around the world, starring Phylicia Rashad, Alan S. Kim, Ki Hong Lee and more.

In addition to Lee Eisenberg and Siân Heder, the series is executive produced by Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, Alan Yang, Natalie Sandy, Epic Magazine’s Joshuah Bearman, Joshua Davis and Arthur Spector. The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
