The original movie is now available on Disney+ As if through disillusionment, they lived unhappy and dissatisfiedsequel to the little Disney cult Like magic: here’s a new commercial to celebrate its debut on the streaming platform, a featurette with the protagonists recalling the experience of the first film and the songs and themes of the official OST, directly from the DisneyMusicVEVO channel, where you can find thirteen videos can find out about it.

The anticipated sequel to Enchanted reunites original cast members Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel and James Marsden, as well as new additions Maya Rudolph, Gabriella Baldacchino, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma Mays. The film is directed by Adam Shankman and features new songs by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.

It’s been 15 years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert’s (Patrick Dempsey) married, but Giselle has become disillusioned with city life, so the two decide to move their growing family to the quiet suburb of Monroeville in search of a fairytale life. Unfortunately, this solution isn’t as simple as Giselle had hoped. The rules outside of town are all new, and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her “happily ever after” wasn’t so easy to get to, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, inadvertently turning all of Monroeville into a fairytale and jeopardizing her future happiness. Now Giselle must race against time to undo the spell and find out what “happily ever after” really means to her and her family.

As for Disenchantment: Unhappi and Discontented stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Gabriella Baldacchino, with Idina Menzel and James Marsden. Disenchantment, directed by Adam Shankman, from a screenplay by Brigitte Hales and story by J. David Stem & David N. Weiss and Richard LaGravenese, is produced by Barry Josephson, Barry Sonnenfeld and Amy Adams, while Jo Burn, Sunil Perkash and Adam Shankman are executive producers. The film features songs with music by eight-time Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyrics by three-time Academy Award-winning lyricist Stephen Schwartz, whose work on Enchanted earned three Academy Award nominations.

In the Italian version, the protagonists of the film return to lend their voices: Ilaria Latini (“Giselle”/Amy Adams – dialogues), Giulia Ottonello (“Giselle”/AmyAdams – vocals), Stefano Benassi (“Robert”/Patrick Dempsey – dialogues and vocals), Francesco Bulckaen (“Prince Edward”/James Marsden – dialogues), Luca Velletri (“Prince Edward”/James Marsden – vocals), Laura Lenghi (“Nancy”/Idina Menzel – dialogues), Claudia Paganelli (“Nancy”/Idina Menzel – vocals), Luigi Ferraro (“Pip” – dialogues and vocals); while Laura Romano (“Malvina Monroe”/Maya Rudolph – dialogues), Renata Fusco (“Malvina Monroe”/Maya Rudolph – vocals), Emanuela Ionica (“Morgan”/Gabriella Baldacchino – dialogues), Cristiana Alviti (“Morgan” / Gabriella Baldacchino – vocals), Stella Gasparri (“Rosaleen”/Yvette Nicole Brown – dialogues), Francesca Manicone (“Ruby”/Jayma Mays – dialogues) and Nanni Baldini (squirrels Skip and Kip – dialogues and vocals).
