Series walking Dead began what seems to be an extensive journey through completely new places. New images appear on his official Instagram Dead citylong awaited spin off from the original series. A set of photos show the return of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
In the first image, Maggie looks brand new and appears to be waiting at the bar. Obviously, several years have passed since the season finale. walking Dead and that the character is very far from Alexandria.
In the second, Negan watches from a balcony in a relaxed pose, which makes it clear that the rumors about the character’s evolution are true. As already seen in the eleventh season walking Dead, the once cruel leader follows the path of redemption. In the story, both characters have a significant conversation, from which it becomes clear that, despite their recent union, Maggie is unable to forgive him. However, Negan continues on his journey towards a better understanding of his role as the visible leader of the survivors.
Finally, the third and most revealing image is of Maggie holding a knife to Negan’s throat. Although the latter does not appear to be concerned, or at least not immediately at risk. Which would show that the strained relationship between the two characters would continue to be the driving force behind the plot. Dead city.
Dead citya new path through a world in ruins

Despite the recent ending, everything indicates that the universe surrounding the classic zombie TV story has only just begun its expansion. In fact, the story is supposed to focus on Negan and Maggie as privileged witnesses to what happened after the end of walking Dead.
As you remember, after the capture of Alexandria and the transformation of the place into a peaceful island space, the series made it clear that the story would continue beyond its walls. Which includes a new angle on a scene marked by relative peace in the midst of history’s long apocalyptic transit.
What stories are yet to be told walking Dead?
The latest chapter of the cult zombie series has left the door open for all the spin-offs already announced and in production. On the one hand, Rick and Michonne appeared in the last scenes of the finale, making it clear that their story was once again included in the main plot. On the other end, Daryl said goodbye to Carol, apparently to go his own way.
Maggie also made it clear that she wanted to explore the world, which connected her character’s storyline to what was seen of her in the ninth season. Something that includes delving into what happened outside of the known places that he showed. walking Dead.
As it turns out, the plot Dead city will happen years later walking Dead and will focus on exploring New York. There is still no evidence to support why the city was chosen as the characters’ destination. Far less reason why Negan and Maggie would be together on an adventure, whatever that may be.
