Though this won’t be the only time Matthew Vogel’s script uses winks to tell a simple plot. The adaptation, which attempts to be a summary of the Nintendo experience on video consoles, doesn’t take too many liberties.

Mario must venture into the sewers to discover a whole world beneath his feet. Events Super Mario Bros. Movie will force the protagonist to accidentally become a hero in the midst of an increasingly unique situation. With a soundtrack that is both a massive homage to the material it was made from and an attempt to give the film its own identity. However, despite the efforts of the plot, the story is too well-known to surprise. In fact, it’s almost impossible to link something that the average player can’t predict or imagine.

Super Mario Bros. The film tries to successfully combine homage to the sprawling video game saga it comes from with an independent story. He succeeds in some of his most memorable episodes, but in others he’s so dependent on the original franchise that it’s confusing and confusing.
