Yesterday Apple released the official trailer for For all mankind 3, the third season of the television series that offers a different perspective on the landing and the consequences of the conquest of Space. The video released online shows some details of the episodes of the new season.

The third season takes place twenty years after the landing of man on the moon, and in the trailer we find the most interesting detail of the whole story: the fact that the United States is equipped to land on Mars. But the events that lead American astronauts to colonize the Red Planet are heavily influenced by political issues on Earth, and in the video there is a small sequence showing the race for the United States Senate in the year 1986.
To give the film even more effect, there is also the song Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden in the background, which can create an even more evocative atmosphere thanks to the grunge sounds and the lyrical references to the “black hole sun”.
The cast of protagonists also featured in the For all Mankind trailer includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey W. Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt. Among the new cast entries we also find Edi Gathegi, who plays the character Dev Ayesa.
For all Mankind 3 will be available on the Apple TV+ streaming platform on June 10.
