Developer Eztheory AS has released the Unreal Engine 5 based benchmarking program EzBench on Steam. The program allows gamers to see how games created with Unreal Engine 5 will perform on their systems. Among other things, the benchmark program supports 8Ktextures and ray tracing.

According to the makers, the software is ‘intended to stress-test your system under the worst conditions. You can expect higher framerates from well-optimized games.” Because of the pressure on a system, EzBench can “sweat even an RTX 3090”.

A system needs at least the following features:

  • 7th Gen Intel processor or AMD equivalent
  • 16GB RAM
  • GTX 1080 or AMD equivalent (8GB)
  • DirectX 12
  • 25GB storage

For a better experience, the developer recommends the following features:

  • 10th Gen Intel or AMD Equivalent
  • 32GB RAM
  • RTX 3000 Series or AMD Equivalent
  • DirectX 12
  • 25GB storage
