Microsoft wants to convince you to use Edge with some really cool new gaming features

Microsoft’s video game ecosystem is unmatched. What the company is doing with the Xbox, both on PC and consoles, is a lesson for the entire industry. Now the company wants to continue promoting the game on its main platform, PC, and some very exciting news is coming to Edge.

Many of them, announced in this year’s non-E3 Xbox Showcase preview, are now available in the program. insiderbut now they make the jump for all users. Microsoft’s idea is to empower games Edge and Windows 11 offering new tools for gamers who spend time on PC. News, by the way, that was already available on consoles, at least some of them.

Perhaps the most important of all the new options making the transition to Edge are the game improvements that have so far been limited to Xbox Gaming. They are now available on Xbox Cloud, its cloud service, True, only through the Microsoft browser.

Clarity Boost makes the leap to Edge, which also kicks off a new game mode.

With this update, cloud gaming via Edge will be compatible with Increasing clarityfiltration system to improve the graphic quality of games. What Clarity Boost does is apply spatial scaling enhancements that make graphics crisper and clearer than they would in another browser.

Microsoft has also changed some aspects of Edge to make it the perfect gaming browser. The most important change is that the browser will now include new config inside Efficiency mode game oriented. With this new option, games will run faster by reducing the consumption of other aspects of the browser and system while playing.

It is a resource management system designed to speed up the browser while playing. In fact, when you start playing, the browser gives an order to the system so that other services stop consuming system resources. At the end of a gaming session, Edge will re-share resources appropriately without having to restart the browser. After activating the option this is automatic and transparent to the user.

Also, although this is a minor feature, the browser now has completely updated interface in the game section, similar to side panel from Xbox. New home screen games Edge offers quick access to industry news, game guides, live streams, highlights, tournaments and more.
