Naughty Dog announced in a tweet that The last of us part 1 has officially arrived in the gold phase. This means that work is done on the game and the title is ready to be published.

Naughty Dog’s announcement therefore confirms that the title will not be delayed and which will arrive in stores on September 2, 2022 as announced. Announced with a trailer for Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, The last of us part 1 will use all the power of the next-generation Sony console to rekindle the adventures of Joel and Ellie in the final version.
In the past few hours, Naughty Dog has revealed that it will be unveiling soon new information on the game’s graphics and gameplay. Given that the game is still about a month and a half away from release, there is a good chance that the game will return to show itself at Gamescom 2022, the video game event scheduled from August 24 to 28. However, it’s not said that the team doesn’t decide to return to talk about it already in a few weeks with insights on the PS Blog or other short teasers.
We remind you that The Last of Us remake is coming to PS5 and later on PC. The game will have a modernized gameplayadvanced graphics effects, improved controls, expanded accessibility options, and the Left Behind DLC.
