Today, Friday 15 July, pre-orders for the physical and digital editions of God of War Ragnarok, the highly anticipated title from Santa Monica Studio. A few hours after the pre-orders opened, however, collector’s edition turns out already sold out on both Gamestop and Amazon.

Some users reported that the special edition sold out within minutes, indicating an undeniable high demand from users. Many also report that they have had trouble making the payment on both the Gamestop site and Amazon while the product has been placed in the cart correctly.

We also point out that at the moment even the most expensive special edition of the game, namely the Jotnar Edition, sold out on the Gamestop website. We don’t know if other units of the Collector’s and the Jotnar Edition will go on sale in the future, what is certain is that at the moment only the Launch Edition on Gamestop and the Standard edition for PS4 and PS5 on Amazon.

The Launch Edition retails for €80.99 for PS5 and €70.99 for PS4 and includes the game, the Kratos Risen armor and the Atreus Risen tunic. While the Standard Edition is available at a price of €70.99 for the PS4 version and €80.99 for the PS5.
