Philips has announced a new 27-inch 4K OLED monitor. The 27E1N8900/27 has a 60 hertz refresh rate and a 0.1 millisecond response time. It can display 1.07 billion colors with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a brightness of 250 nits with a peak of 540 candelas per square metre.

It has DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification and 99.7 percent of the DCI-P3 series. Also, there is 99.6% Adobe RGB, 119% NTSC, and 150% sRGB. With these high color reproduction values, this display is mainly aimed at the professional market.

With 90W power delivery and support for video transmission, USB 3.2 Gen 1 can be used to simultaneously connect and charge laptops. There is also an audio output with two HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. The USB hub consists of USB Type-B and four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a KVM switch button lets you switch between the two computers.

The included base provides height adjustment and rotation in three axes. A custom mount can be used through the Vesa mounting holes and a Kensington lock is also provided. No price or availability date has yet been announced.
