Naoki Yoshida is back to talk about the next trailer for Final Fantasy XVI we’ll see this fall. During a lengthy interview with Famitsu’s microphones, the game’s producer revealed some small previews of the new video that we will see between September and December this year.

Yoshida confirmed that this time the trailer will be dedicated to the storyline and to the game world, adding that work on the storyboard and on the film’s composition has already been completed. However, the Final Fantasy XVI team has yet to record and edit all gameplay footage intended for use in the trailer.

Finally, the producer said he was pleased with the welcome given to the latest gameplay trailer “Dominance”, which was shown in the latest Sony State of Play, and was eager to show off new aspects of the production with the following movie. .

In the same interview, Yoshida also talked about choosing not to include turn-based combat in this final chapter and the reasons the team didn’t consider the open world.
