However, EL TIEMPO was able to access the audio recordings it had collected for months in legal interventions. The prosecution’s CTI and this would demonstrate Pinzón Gómez’s responsibility for the enforced disappearance of Helena, who suffers from some degree of autism.

CTI inspector Hernán Javier Correal Rodríguez described how he recorded over a thousand hours of cell phone calls. Liliana Laserna, Camilo Pinzón, and Claudia Patricia Pinzón were key to illuminating the mysterious disappearance.

Although Helena’s mother was detained for several weeks, the decision exempted her from liability.

The acquittal of Ms. María Liliana Laserna, beyond declaring no responsibility for the sad disappearance of her daughter at the hands of Mr. Camilo Fidel Pinzón, was above all an act of justice that meant the restoration of her good name as a citizen. and mom“, said the criminal Camilo Sepúlveda, lawyer for the Laserna family.

And I add: “He was wrongfully accused and deprived of his liberty. It was only after rigorous and proactive testing with dozens of testimonies and technical tests were we able to show that Camilo Pinzón Gómez had cheated on Miss Laserna.taking advantage of my client’s mental pathology with the vain aim of stealing my client’s fortune on the pretext of paying the girl for a stem cell treatment not abroad to supposedly cure her autism”.

One of the most defining sounds was the recording of a call made on April 25, 2019. Camilo Pinzón and Claudia Patricia Pinzón, her older sister, asks if she has bought anything from Camilo Helena here, Claudia Patricia only answers her ID card.

— Camilo: Gringo came with his family
– Claudia: Oh my God, Camilo. And so?
— Camilo: Well, there are two options (…), talk to the inspector and tell him that you and I should go to Bogota and tell him everything, there are photos of everything on the hard drive.
– Claudia: And what will they ask? They will ask him.
– Camilo: No, they already know he’s dead.
– Claudia: And the corpse? (…). Don’t say crazy things Camilo, concentrate well, for God’s sake, if they don’t want something, shut up, don’t offer what isn’t, please, concentrate well, don’t say inconsistency, relax if you understand me.
— That girl is gone, what do those old women want, do they want inheritance, what do they want? Leave it like this.

In fact, in a conversation between Camilo Pinzón and an unknown interlocutor, allegedly, They will register Helena’s death with the help of the registrar of the municipality of Sesquilé.

Without too much luxury and detail and to calm him down (inaudible) I told him to record that shit and that’s later (…), these guys know how to get back, I accept the date is skipped and I didn’t want to do that and anyway. But now with the scientific backing I have, now” is heard in the audio recording edited by EL TIEMPO.

According to the prosecution, Camilo Pinzón has unveiled a plan to remove evidence of the girl’s death and show that young Helena died in a medical treatment in Chile. Also, that Helena manipulated her mother into believing that she died abroad under medical procedures.

In another audio recording, Helena Laserna’s mother is heard talking to a relative of the family, He assures her that Helena died in Chile and that he burned Helena’s body.

However, the main test to establish Camilo Pinzón’s responsibility for the girl’s disappearance and subsequent death is an audio recording between a supposed friend of Camilo Pinzón’s and Diana Pinzón; where Diana Pinzón admits that Helena Laserna is not in Chile. He died while in his care in the municipality of Camira (Cundinamarca).

According to Camilo Pinzón’s sister, Helena had a disease that deteriorated the young woman’s health.

“The girl didn’t eat anymore, she didn’t sleep, she screamed, Camilo ignored the girl, and I said she’s my daughter (…) She doesn’t have a photo or anything because Camilo asked me to do it all.”

As it turned out in 2019, Pinzón would have convinced Liliana Laserna that she was undergoing stem cell therapy in Chile for her daughter’s rehabilitation. And he was going to die in the middle of the scientific tests and enter Colombia as if he had passed out.

However, relatives of the family assured and also thanked the young woman that at that time no travel to that country was recorded in her passport. It was learned that Liliana Laserna’s body was cremated in the butler where she lived at the Achury farm in Sesquilé (Cundinamarca).

Now, even though Camilo Pinzón already has a warrant for his arrest, His whereabouts are unknown, but some clues suggest he may be in Ecuador.
