Valve has been working on introducing Steam to Chrome OS for several months, and in the last hours he took a very important step. And also expanded the range of compatible chips, as Steam now works on Chromebooks. with AMD Ryzen 5000 C-Series or 12th Gen Intel Core. So far, it has only worked on Chrome OS laptops running on 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processors.

Games that work best on Steam for Chrome OS
Those from Mountain View have updated the list of recommended games with 50 titles, reaching a total of 200. These are the ones that work best on Steam for Chrome OS, although in some cases you need to change your graphics configuration or have high-end hardware for them to work properly.

Google is looking to add more Chromebook models to the Steam compatible list for Chrome OS.
