Alone in the dark returns to show himself in a new teaser trailer, published by THQ Nordic on the occasion of: Halloween 2022. The short video, which you will find below, plunges us into the gloomy atmosphere of Derceto’s villa, between dark visions and disturbing porcelain dolls.
Announced at THQ Nordic’s Showcase this Summer, Alone in the dark is the reboot of the historical survival horror of the 90s. The highly anticipated makeover will transport us to 1920s America to reprise the role of Edward Carnby, a private detective hired by Emily Hartwood to to find her uncle.

Return to Derceto Manor in this reimagined version of Alone in the Dark, a love letter to the classic ’90s cult horror game. When Emily Hartwood learns that her uncle is missing, she sets out with the help of private detective Edward Carnby to find it. Arriving at Derceto Manor, a home for mentally unstable people, they encounter strange inhabitants, portals to nightmarish worlds, dangerous monsters and finally have to stop a plan to summon the evil one.
Alone in the dark has no release date yet. It’s coming on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
