Today silent hill was the victim of a resounding leak which revealed the first images of one of the games in the series currently in development. As to what emerged in the leak, a user is said to have noticed an old tweet from Alanah Pearce – former journalist and now employee of Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studio – who talked about a Silent Hill feature also mentioned by the leaker who released the screens today.

As you can also see below, Dusk Golem showed some images (later removed for DMCA), but also shared some information. The leaker mentioned, among other things, the presence of “Text messagesBased on Alan Pearce’s tweet (from 2019), Silent Hill could send the player emails or text messages on behalf of the game’s characters.

In other words, the new Silent Hill could try to overcome the barrier of the virtual world and move the game into everyday life. THE messages they can even gain weight if we don’t plan on playing with pads in hand.

Meanwhile, theaccount of Dusk Golem has been blocked for violating the DMCA, the US copyright law, shortly after the screenshots were posted. So this would confirm the indiscretion.

To find out if we’re really close to announcing a new Silent Hill, we’ll just have to wait.
