Eldo Yoshimizu (Tokyo, 1965) is a versatile Japanese artist, sculptor and independent manga artist. After graduating from Tokyo University of Fine Arts, he devoted himself to the creation of some works that were exhibited first in Japan and then in various Asian, American and European cities. In 2015, the French label Lezard Noir released Ryuko, a manga noir in two parts, brought to Italy two years later by Bao Publishing. In 2020, together with Benoist Simmat, he created Gamma Draconis, which tackles the theme of transhumanism in an entirely French setting but with a typical Japanese graphic style. In 2022, on the occasion of Earth Day, Hen Kai Pan, a story encompassing the author’s ecological, philosophical and spiritual thought, will be released simultaneously in different countries of the world.
