In November 2020, stunning news arrived. Legendary Robert Englundknown for playing Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street (A Nightmare on Elm Street), joined the cast Stranger Things 4. Now that the Netflix series has stepped on the gas with its ad campaign, more details have surfaced about how the aforementioned actor, in a completely unexpected way, joined the story set in Hawkins.
In an interview with IGNMatt and Ross Duffer, creators weird thingsit turned out that it was Robert Englund who approached the production to consider. This process is, of course, very atypical for the cinematic world. And the thing is, they tend to be in charge of the production and hire the perfect actors for every role. Of course, Englund is not a figure in the world of terror.
“The fact that he came to us in a season so deeply inspired Horrible dream and for his performance, especially in those films, it was like destiny. It was like, “OK, that’s the way it should be,” said Matt Duffer.
We know it Robert Englund will play Victor Creela character we’ve already seen in a recent trailer Stranger Things 4. This is about Serial killer that in 1959 he killed his entire family (wife and two children). For this reason, he is imprisoned in Pennhurst Psychiatric Hospital. His participation will be significant in the story of the fourth season, as we even get to see a younger version of him, played by actor Kevin L. Johnson.
This week has been key. Stranger Things 4 in regards to promotion. First, Netflix released a trailer that inevitably raised expectations for the series. Horror, mystery and action will be the components that will support the new episodes. One of the elements that attracted the most attention during the advance is Look which appears near the beginning. As Ross Duffer commented: “This is a really important part of the mystery that our group in Hawkins is trying to solve. So I don’t want to reveal too much other than to say that this watch plays a very, very important role. go forward”.
We cannot fail to mention neighbornew villain Stranger Things 4. In the trailer, you hear him speak in a sinister voice and show off a truly terrifying look. Ross Duffer had this to say about this character:
“We wanted our actors to be able to react on set, whereas in Season 3 they were reacting to a beach ball. we’re really excited for people to see it this season.”
remember, that Stranger Things 4 will be divided into two parts. The first one comes out next May 27and the second will wait until July 1. Without a doubt, this is the biggest Netflix card in 2022.
