Microsoft actively uses neural networks in its office software, allowing users to automatically generate texts and other content. Russian software developer MyOffice is working on a similar solution and is discussing possible partnerships with Yandex, VK and Sber to integrate AI into office products.

Developers are aware that relevant technologies need to be incorporated into native solutions, but developing their own AI algorithms requires significant time and financial costs. For example, the ChatGPT project turned out to be unprofitable and was saved by a multi-billion dollar investment from Microsoft. It also took a year to train the system itself. The head of MyOffice, Pavel Kalyakin, believes that in Russia only large IT companies such as Sberbank, Yandex and VK can develop suitable technologies.

Foreign robots, including artificial intelligence, are very popular in Russia, including in the field of education, where they are used by students and students to prepare articles. According to mobile operators, as of May 2023, the Russian artificial intelligence market reached 635 billion rubles, and the number of users of neural networks has increased fivefold since August 2022. Experts believe that artificial intelligence-based software for office suites shows great promise.

Microsoft’s smart services allow users to create presentation-based emails or checklist-based presentations and perform a variety of other tasks. However, ChatGPT analogues in the domestic market are still much weaker, and it is not known how long it will take to create systems with similar performance.

Analysts note that modern generative AI models, despite their extensive knowledge, are not yet designed for highly specialized fields such as law or programming. For this reason, special tools are being created or will be created for such areas. Experts believe that in the future such neural networks could optimize a person’s daily activities.
