The introduction of artificial intelligence into our daily lives requires special measures to inform people about how and where artificial intelligence is used, and to ensure that its work is controlled and limited to prevent possible dangers. State Duma Deputy Anton Nemkin proposed one of these measures – tagging content generated by neural networks.

He believes that artificial intelligence-generated content tagging will be an important step in that direction. For example, the social network TikTok already uses this type of tagging. The deputy spoke about the proposal of experts from the Russian University of Technology MIREA to use graphic signs for this purpose. It is important that the label is clear and does not disturb users so that they can analyze the content better.

Anton Nemkin also noted that the volume of content on the network is constantly increasing, and with it, misinformation spreads. He stressed that it cannot be guaranteed that images or videos created by artificial intelligence will not be used for misconduct or cyberbullying.
