Controversial videos on the platform in which dead children recount their death stories in a shocking amount of detail went viral.

The videos themselves are created using neural networks and deep fake technology. Enthusiasts, with their help, created pictures of children based on original photos and videos.

TikTok videos tend to be theatrical and add lots of fanciful details for emotional impact. At the same time, the families of the victims stated that they did not allow these videos to be shot.

At the time of this writing, the user accounts on which the videos were posted had already been deleted.

However, this does not mean that such content has not become popular enough to win many copycats.
