Most interestingly, it will not require Windows to be installed, as always. The currently available version – CrossOver 22 – only supports DirectX 11. However, the developers promise to add DirectX 12 support this summer.

CodeWeavers reps said they were able to run Diablo II Resurrected on macOS using CrossOver 23, but still had some non-critical bugs. Developers acknowledge that each DirectX 12-enabled game will require separate support.

They are also not yet ready to give an exact release date for their new product. “Summer 2023” is by far the most specific piece of information they have to share.
