As the results of a new study show, 75% of the participants admitted that they started to sleep better after sex. Also, many reported a modest improvement in nighttime sleep, and 64% of respondents said that sleeping pills affect their sleep in the same way as sex, or that they don’t work as effectively.
The study included 53 people. They completed an online questionnaire consisting of eight questions. The age of 89% of the respondents ranged from 25 to 49, and 53% of them were women.
A summary of the findings from this study was recently published in the online supplement of the journal Sleep.
