Promsvyazbank (PSB) is going to launch a Women’s Investment Shop, which would help women invest in businesses, Senior Vice President Vera Podguzova said during SPIEF, as quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The “Store” will be launched as part of the Bank’s “Women’s Leadership in Investments” project and, according to plans, “will help women to discover how they could invest in business” – in “women” and not only, in the expansion of industrial opportunities of various regions, in the development of regional economies with an emphasis on “long” money, which will allow you to receive income in the future.
The PSB representative believes that women now need support both to improve financial education and to create conditions for professional development, especially in industries that are traditionally considered “masculine”.
Earlier, a study conducted by Yandex.Market and NAFI showed that more than half of Russian women doing business in the field of commerce conduct their business on the Internet. Of these, one in three works only online.
