The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Digital Development are monitoring the introduction of a ban on the import of Samsung and LG color smartphones, as well as servers and data storage systems from unfriendly countries, which are typical for competitive Russian counterparts. Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development, announced this at SPIEF.
The ban may include products from HP and IBM. At the same time, the minister said that the stock offer does not apply to the iPhone.
We are discussing a ban on those positions where there are competitive analogues in subjects – either in Russia or from friendly countries.
