Users reported that the application failed to launch properly even though the Chrome process seemed to be running.

Uninstalling the problematic update KB5027231 seems like a logical solution, but unfortunately it is not that easy. Windows Server Update Services, a tool used by administrators to manage updates, encounters a “destructive error” when trying to uninstall an update.

Moreover, it seems that the problem is beyond Google Chrome. Cisco and WatchGuard, two leading cybersecurity companies, have also reported issues with this update. Windows 11 systems may have applications causing conflicts with Google Chrome.

Affected users have found workarounds such as disabling certain services or uninstalling security software from the companies above. However, frustrated users are waiting for a more suitable solution from Microsoft.
