Twitter owner Elon Musk has announced the imminent launch of a social networking app for smart TVs. At the same time, the billionaire did not name the exact dates.
On one of Elon Musk’s podcasts, a user @sunoxen expressed hope for a Twitter app for Smart-TVs, as he was not used to watching hour-long videos on the social network.
“It’s on its way,” Musk said in response to a user comment.
What the application will be and what functions it will have, the businessman did not specify. He also did not give a release date.
In fall 2022, Elon Musk wrote that he would “end the absurd practice of notepad screenshots” and add the ability to write long Twitter posts and attach large media files.
In May, users of the social network with a paid subscription were given the opportunity to upload 8 GB two-hour videos.
