At the same time, two more smartphones are being developed on this operating system for the Russian and international markets. A KasperskyOS-based prototype device has reportedly been in development for two years.
Representatives of the company said that KasperskyOS has “cyber immunity” and a microkernel to protect against cyber attacks. Basically, it is planned to produce computers for relay protection and automation devices and PLCs used in substations.
The introduction of “cyberimmune” devices is possible in a range of industrial productions, from the same power plants and oil refineries to other facilities with high energy capacity.
Note that experts have expressed concerns about migrating to a new solution without adequate testing on real objects and proven functionality.
