According to the research, Russians aged 21-30 started watching television more frequently in 2023. They focus on domestic TV series, comedy programs and sports events.

At the same time, the exit of foreign channels only spurred the development of the domestic film industry. Thus, 45% of young Russians said that in the last year, they started to watch domestic movies and series more frequently on television and in online cinemas.

One in five respondents (22%) stated that there is an increase in interesting content on TV channels.

At the same time, 38% of Russian youth do not watch TV, and 13% started watching TV less this year. The main reason for this is the lack of interesting content (41%). And one in four respondents (25%) noted the poor quality of television content compared to what can be found online.
