The National Union for the Protection of Consumer Rights (NSZPP) proposes to set a high level of cost for Russian cars. According to experts, it should not exceed 15% for dealers.

The union claims that the average cost of cars in the country increased by 20% in 2022 and by 11% in 2023. This happened due to the artificial transfer of prices to car dealerships.

Other factors that affect car prices include false advertising about car prices, high interest rates on loans, and related services such as several types of insurance.
