The number of self-employed freelancers has multiplied by six in the last two years, according to a study by Solar Staff. More and more freelancers will choose this method of legalization of income, and the income limit of 2.4 million rubles per year can be increased.
Russian companies are increasingly cooperating with freelancers, mainly companies in the fields of media, advertising, education, IT and finance, according to a study by the Solar Staff service for secure transactions between companies and freelancers.
Relocation has become one of the main growth drivers of the freelance market: Relocators are entering local markets and taking on work from local clients, says Solar Staff. About 50% of the total number of freelancers in Russia work in the status of an individual.
Solar Staff analysts note that more and more companies prefer to work with any contractor, regardless of their tax situation. This makes it easy to find the right frameworks and speeds up project creation.
More than 100 large and medium-sized companies in various segments participated in the study.
