Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution on expanding the list of equipment, the supply of which is anticipated in public procurement in the amount of at least 80% of the contract price.
10 more positions have been added to the list, according to the official website of the Russian government.
These are additional types of handling and metallurgical equipment, including, for example, construction cranes, industrial chambers, hoisting machines for warehouses, elevators, electric furnaces, etc.
The anticipated mechanism for public procurement of industrial products has been in operation since the end of 2022 and its objective is to support manufacturers in the machine tool industry. And the new resolution is another measure of that support from the government.
“The expansion of this mechanism will speed up the process of increasing production capacities and increasing the volume of products,” the Cabinet said in a statement.
