Russian specialists from URGPU have developed a promising method for the production of metal alloys, according to which their properties can be determined. This is a rather serious step in the field of import substitution, having discovered to establish the production in Russia, previously purchased abroad

In the course of research, the Ural measurements of the concentration of alloys, particle sizes of aluminum particles with cobalt, nickel with drugs, as well as zirconium, which is characterized by high hardness and ductility, also increased resistance to radiation.

In addition, in the work of a noticeable mechanical dimension of the alloy, Russian specialists brought it to an amorphous state – with the absence of a crystalline structure inherent in metals. According to Boris Rusanov, project manager, the structure of the alloy was obtained during operational hardening, which promises it high strength and microhardness parameters, as well as radiation resistance.

In the future, the Ural State Pedagogical University plans to study precisely the corrosion properties of alloys from the indicated metals, as well as the correct properties that you can choose from the first test of alloy products in aggressive environments, including marine water.
